Rainbow Screw Threads are designed with two twisted mono sutures that are wrapped around the needle. The spiral shape gives the thread a number of unique properties such as a more powerful lifting effect.
It has a greater rejuvenating effect than the PDO Mono thread because of its spiral designed thread coiled around the needle. The threads are flexible and elastic which allow them to conform to the fold's natural movement.
The screw thread is a complex technique that unfolds as two twisted pairs of mono threads wrapped around the needle. Its spiral shape gives the thread a number of properties such as a stronger lifting effect and more intensive stimulation of collagen and elastin formation. The helical thread accelerates greater stimulation in the SMAS layers, where it helps tighten sagging skin.
In addition, the screw thread provides additional volume and can expand and contract vertically due to its large diameter bend. The Screw Rainbow Thread can also be firmly attached to the patient's tissue. PDO threads can be used alone or in combination with other treatments such as fillers, PRP or chemical peels
