Alpha Arbutin provides skin lightening and depigmentation, inhibits the tyrosinase activity and melanosome maturation.
Licorice extract (Gliabridin) improves hyper pigmentation by dispersing melanin and inhibiting melanin production.
Glycolic acid enhances the penetration of the other ingredients.
