MD Peel Acne Prone Skin is a chemical exfoliant that combines alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA): mandelic acid, and beta-hydroxy acid (BHA): salicylic acid.

INDICATIONS

This peeling is indicated for the treatment and purification of oily skin.
It is recommended for acne: comedonal. papolar, papulo-pustular, as well as acne scars and seborrheic, dermatitis

PRE-TREATMENT·RECOMMENDATIONS

Use Cleansing Gel for your daily cleansing routine. It is particularly indicated before and after treatment with chemical peels. In preparation for the peel, and during the 2 weeks before the session with MD PeeI Acne Prone Skin, apply the AHA Foamer in the morning and the Night Exfoliating Gel in the evening. The use of Dry Touch Sun Cream SPFSO+ before and between treatment sessions is recommended. Sun protection reduces the risk of hyperpigmentation before and after treatment with chemical peels.
During the week preceding the peel. it is recommended not to carry out professional exfoliating procedures such as micro-dermabrasions, ultrasonic peels, chemical or mechanical peels, etc.
The patient should not use abrasive or irritating substances. It is not recommend to tint, bleach, wax or shave the area to be treated. In men, a minimum of 24 hours after shaving is recommended. A minimum of one week should elapse after using an injectable product and two weeks after a tattoo.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Remove contact lenses, any piercing-type objects and/or earrings before treatment. Ask the patient to close their eyes and keep them closed throughout the procedure. The Peel must be monitored from the start of application until neutralization or removal. It is recommended to always monitor the reaction that occurs on the skin and never leave the patient alone.
1. Cleanse the skin with the AHA Foamer.
2. In cases where greater penetration is desired, alcohol or acetone can be used beforehand to degrease the skin using a cotton ball or gauze to even out the pH of the skin. area to be treated, ensuring uniform penetration of the peel.
3. Protect the delicate areas (outer corner of the eyes, sides of the nose and mucous membranes) with Recovery Cream Mask or Vaseline.
4. Apply 2 ml of the peeling solution to a gauze or cotton ball and spread it, starting with the most resistant areas such as the forehead, continuing towards the cheeks, chin, peri-labial area and nose. A slight tingling or itching sensation may be noted which disappears after neutralization. Under no circumstances should the treatment be prolonged if the user experiences significant discomfort.
